October is upon us, and before you don your orange and black, think pink in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
One in eight women living today will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetimes. That’s a frightening number, to be sure. However, there is so much hope to take comfort in. Breast cancer has a 99% five-year survival rate with early detection.
Figures such as these are why National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is so important. Such initiatives are vital in raising money for research and support for patients. By raising awareness, we can arm women with the knowledge they need for prevention and early detection. October also gives women a chance to hear the beautiful stories of courage from millions of breast cancer survivors around the country.
In honor of the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer initiative*, which supports women in the fight against breast cancer, Chamilia is proud to offer several options. This fall’s Breast Cancer Give Back Collection features beautiful bracelets and charms made with the Chamilia’s signature fine craftsmanship and style, because we want to support causes that matter to you—and to us.
Wear any of these beautiful pieces to raise awareness during National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Wear them to honor a survivor who is important to you, or as a reminder to your commitment to perform your monthly self breast exam.
