Baz Luhrmann’s reinterpretation is out and it’s giving us some serious Gatsby fever! It had us scrambling to find fresh, modern ways of channeling the iconic style of the roaring 20s – through Chamilia accessories, of course.

Play up the gilt factor with tassles, reference art deco with geometric cuts, and have fun with soft greige-colored crystals and pearls. Pair your creations with a drop-waist dress, T-strap heels, and some red lipstick to complete your look and you’re good to go!

It's back: The safety chain!

It’s been a long time since we’ve had a safety chain in our assortment, so we were all jumping for joy here in the office when we saw one among our Season 2 beads! Needless to say, I got it and immediately added it to my bracelet!

For those new to the safety chain, it's an elegant and pretty way of making sure that your beads stay in place AND that your bracelet stays together.

The safety chain's two locks, which are joined together by a pretty linked chain, can be fastened to both ends of your bracelet. So if your bracelet clasp opens accidentally, your beads won't slide off your bracelet and your bracelet stays around your wrist. It definitely gives me peace of mind with my little 6 month old climbing around! No more worrying about losing my beloved bracelet. Functional beauty – gotta ♥♥♥ that!

Check out this peek at our designer's sketch of the filigree safety chain!

For all of you born in the month of May, we’re featuring the Wheel – May Birthstone Swarovski bead. The deep yet bright emerald Swarovski crystal is sure to reflect your vibrant personality and outlook full of love and hope!

They say the strongest time for the powers of the emerald is spring, so it's the perfect time to pair yours with blue or crisp’n’clear beads to create your own meaningful look. So sit back and relax with your loved one(s) and gaze into the future…cause it's looking oh-so-bright and hopeful.

Speak to your personal style and get inspired to create your own unique look!

We love the look you get from colored beads on a colored leather bracelet.

We were inspired by colors of the Royal Petals - Green and Blue bead and paired it with other green beads on the adjustable Blue Metallic Braided Leather Bracelet.
